In 2017 my Dad was diagnosed with cancer. Over the course of a year, through sheer will and determination and extensive chemo and radio therapy, he beat cancer. Or so we all thought. 

Unfortunately it was not the case. Last year he was diagnosed once again. This time he was given two years to live. He got less than a month. Our family are one of far too many to have had to go through this. 

The care he received through the NHS was incredible and we were humbled and touched by the efforts of all involved. 

Having seen it first hand and the effect it has on so many lives I want to do something. I can’t cure cancer but hopefully we can help someone who can. Thank you.
