Story

In 2013 my wife Louise, was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.

Crohn’s disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease whereby parts of the gut become swollen, inflamed and ulcerated. This can cause pain, diarrhoea, fatigue and many other symptoms. Crohn’s disease is a lifelong condition and it can be unpredictable. There is currently no cure for this condition.

I have witnessed daily how it can impact both hers and our family life for the last 9 years.

Louise was admitted to hospital as a result of a Crohn’s flare up, just days before our wedding but she battled on like she does every day, and made sure it was a special day! There are so many people living there lives with Crohn’s, struggling on a daily basis. Crohns and Colitis UK do an amazing job in supporting people on their own journey and being able to raise money for them by running the London marathon is a real honour.

Any donations you can give will be hugely appreciated.!
