Here goes.....Some of you may or may not know Darren and I have entered our 1st Marathon in October and probably last!!!

This is our biggest challenge to date but holds an even bigger place in our hearts as we are doing it in memory of Brett Scott, a fine young man who had a special place in so many people’s lives.

I had the pleasure of first meeting Brett when he was just 12 weeks old whilst fostering and the honour of watching him grow with his amazing adoptive family! Brett wasn’t with his forever family very long when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour and endured years of treatment before finally being told it was terminal. They all remained strong and put up a tough fight. 

This fantastic charity gave Brett an opportunity to take a break from his illness and took him to Lapland to visit Santa. A trip Brett thoroughly enjoyed and the family now treasure the precious memories made. 

Sadly, the unique, funny, beautiful, brave Brett Scott lost his brave battle on 18th April 2018 aged 11 years old. 

This is for you Brett we hope we can do you proud and raise some money in you memory.
