Jack's Skydive for Crohns disease and Ulcerative colitis

Jack's skydive for Crohns disease and Ulcerative colitis · 16 February 2020
Crohns disease and Ulcerative colitis are types of Inflammatory Bowel diseases, that have completely changed my life. At 16 years old (I'm now 17), an Ulcerative colitis flare up hit me like a bus, putting me in a hospital bed for months unable to walk, eat or pretty much do anything. The pain continued until I had to have emergency surgery to take out my large bowel and give me a stoma bag.
Since then I have recovered to full fitness and am doing my best continue with life with stoma bags. I play football, do swimming, cycling and weight lifting. I am also studying at sixth form this year and am looking to go travelling next year before going to university the year after that.
It shocked me that they couldn't find a cause, and that there is no cure. For my 18th birthday this year I would like to raise money for people of all ages suffering with Inflammatory bowel diseases, as I know how horrible it can be and that it can appear from nothing. It's a life changing condition that has a negative stigma that needs to be broken.
Join me in the fight for patients of Inflammatory bowel disease. Any donations, or shares would be heavily appreciated
