Saunderson House Charity of the Year
Campaign by Parkinson’s UK (RCN 258197 and Scotland SC037554)
Over the course of the next two years staff at Saunderson House are aiming to raise £25,000 for the Parkinson's UK helpline which would enable them to provide 1,388 hours free and confidential support to people living with Parkinson's.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition. The number of people diagnosed with Parkinson's in the UK is about 145,000. In 2015, it affected 6.2 million people and resulted in about 117,400 deaths globally.

Saunderson House will be supporting this charity from January 2019, helping fund research to find a cure and also provide care and support to those affected. To help kick this off, I am runnning the London Marathon and hopefully can persuade some of you to part with your precious dosh for a good cause.

A donation of £10 could pay for 2 weeks of nutrients to grow brain cells in the lab for research.

A donation of £20 could fund an hour of care from a specialist Parkinson's nurse.

A donation of £48 could fund a clinical researcher for two hours.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank You
