I'm doing my own run for Mummy's Star to help support the 2 women diagnosed with cancer in and around pregnancy every day!

My friend, Jo, was diagnosed with cancer during her pregnancy last year. She underwent risky surgery during the pregnancy and has since delivered a perfect little boy, Daniel. Jo will need further surgery and treatment once it is safe to do so. Mummy’s star have supported Jo and her family immensely, now it’s time to do my bit to help them help her.

The COVID-19 outbreak has created much anxiety and uncertainty amongst the many families across the UK and Ireland that we support now and those that will soon need to reach out to Mummy's Star.Many of these Mum's are in the highest-risk group, their immune systems already compromised from chemotherapy, and already struggling to manage fear and anxiety alongside raising a young family. It is paramount that we help Mummy's Star continue to provide the help that they do in reducing the isolation they feel.Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated!Thank you
