Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Wycombe Heights Golf Club captains charity page.  I hope to raise both money & awareness of autism. I have chosen the NAS charity as they are often the first point of call for families who have children / adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  SPECIAL THANKS TO MANJ MAHIL WHO IS DOING THE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE TO RAISE ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR MY CHOSEN CHARITY!

Autism is not an illness & there is no cure. Autism spectrum disorder is a condition related to brain development that impacts how a person perceives and socializes with others, causing problems in social interaction and communication. The disorder also includes limited and repetitive patterns of behavior. The term "spectrum" in autism spectrum disorder refers to the wide range of symptoms and severity. Autistic people are not weird or stupid they just have different ways of processing information & different learning styles. Those who have a family member who is on the spectrum never rest, & adapt their lives daily to support individuals to keep them safe trust me I know. Below are some useful links on autism & the NAS charity.
