IT'S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!!!

Kiera and Karris are running in the junior race, Eilidh in the mini race, and myself in the half marathon.

The girls suggested one day that they would like to help out other kids, and also get fit at the same time. They've chosen to raise money for Yorkhill for a number of reasons:

* Kiera and Karris have both been treated there before and the   staff were fantastic.

* They realise that every little bit raised goes towards helping sick children get better, and can help improve the lives of those alot worse off then themselves.

Between us, we aim to raise at least £200 and raise awareness of such a wonderful charity. The girls are taking this very seriously, and have been training hard.

Yorkhill Children’s Charity provides and supports excellence in paediatric, obstetric and neonatal healthcare enhancing the treatment, care and wellbeing of children and their families through The Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill and other hospital and community based services both nationally and internationally.

From a broken arm to end of life care, from simple play activities to innovative medical equipment and ground breaking paediatric research, our driving passion is to fund any initiative that helps to save or improve the life of a child and by association positively affect the lives of their family.
