I am taking part in the Foundation for Ribble Valley Families' attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest ever game of 5-a-side football.

This is a great cause and one that will help lots of children and young people that really need your support.  The charity provides one-to-one therapeutic sessions for children and families to those needing mental health support.

The world record attempt will be a challenging one.  We are playing non-stop with no sleep and 5 minutes of rest (eating drinking and other necessities) for every one hour played. After 75 hours I hope to have raised a lot of money and hopefully be on the winning side! Anyone who has seen me play will attest to my main dream of being top goalscorer is a little ambitious!

I will be without sleep and have blisters the size of golfballs by the time we're done so.....
