Lend us a paw to bring the McWilliams Dog Park to life at Hermann Park! We hope you will help us reach our $100,000 goal to give our canine community a place of their own in one of Houston's most iconic greenspaces.

Story

Please join in me helping bring the McWilliams Dog Park to Hermann Park! Hermann Park Conservancy has already raised 75% of the funds necessary to begin construction this summer. Now they need YOU to help contribute the final dollars and reach their fundraising goal! When developing our their 20-year master plan, Hermann Park Conservancy spoke with a diverse sample of Houstonians and asked what improvements they would like to see in the Park. The most requested new feature? A Dog Park! To honor this request from the community, they have exciting plans in place for a 2-acre site between Brays Bayou and South MacGregor Way. This site, that is located outside the flood zone and will have off-leash areas for both large and small dogs, agility equipment, interactive water play features, dog wash stations, beautifully landscaped seating groves for owners and families, on-site parking, natural shade, and ample lighting to ensure comfort and safety for visitors at all hours.
