We fund research, facilities and equipment to improve bowel cancer survival.

Story

After some disrupted training due to injury I am going to run the London Marathon on the 22nd April - my first (and likely only...) marathon in my 40th year.

In memory of the legend Jane Nicholas (née Bullock) who died after a short battle with Bowel Cancer in May 2015 I would like to raise some money for GUTS - a Guildford based charity trying to improve bowel cancer survival rates through more effective screening, detection and treatment, and by raising awareness of the disease.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. About the charity

In the UK 120 people receive a bowel cancer diagnosis every day and annually, this awful disease claims around 17000 lives. Diagnosed at its earliest stage, there is a 90% chance of survival; to improve early detection and treatment, GUTS funds a Colon Cancer Family Clinic, equipment and research.
