My son Josh and I are aiming to run further than either of us have ever run before. I am almost 60 and he runs with a blade, having lost his right leg seven years ago. We're doing it for Guide Dogs for the Blind because it's easily our favourite charity. Sponsoring a dog is such an amazing thing to be able to do and the difference the dogs make to the quality of life is unbelievable. I saw the difference such companionship can make: when Josh came home from the hospital in 2014, our Jack Russell Reggie did not leave his side and was his constant companion. We want to see more dogs help even more people by raising money!
