Why Susan supports the Abilities First "Back to School Appeal" After many years of advocating to support her son's intensive needs, Susan felt desperate and thought she had exhausted all available opportunities until she was referred to Abilities First. Abilities First is there for children like James with Autism. As a parent, she is grateful that a school like this exists for children and families in her community. Like most children with Autism, change is not easy to accept, be it a bus driver or a new schedule change. Working with the compassionate staff at Abilities First is why James today has a bright future ahead. Let's make sure every child or young adult has the same opportunity and resources available to them.
