We have become embroiled in the Elephant story since Theo took up the cause in 2016, inspired by the lack of action by the UK government regarding a ban on ALL ivory trade. Letters to the Prime Minister and the Duke of Cambridge followed requesting the full ban of the Ivory trade.

We were inspired to be active in the quest to help save this beautiful endangered species driven on by Theo. We visited an Elephant sanctuary in Thailand in 2017 which educated us further in the plight of the Asian Elephants. Of all the charities we donated to after the successful raising of £1650 from the 2017 garden party, the Elephant Family have really taken to Theo (and the rest of our family) and welcomed us into their cause. They have actively encouraged his fundraising, inviting us into their offices in Shoreditch to see their work in action and always answering his emails and supporting his endeavours.

Its now 2019 and time for another garden party - Elephant Day 2. We want to make this more successful than the previous one and provide more funds to help this charity fight against the ever decreasing numbers of Elephants.

Elephant Day 2 has elephant crafts, raffle with donations from local businesses, cake sale, golf, basketball, slime store, BBQ, bar, book sale, homemade lemonade, face painting, pound in the bucket and other fundraising activities. Its great fun for all the family so come along if you can and please donate if you can't.

It will be held on Saturday 13th July from 12 till 4pm in our garden.

As human populations expand Asia's elephants face an uncertain future. Pushed from their ancestral homes and forced into conflict with people, the battle for space can result in conflict with tragic loss on both sides. Although their population is less than 10% of their African counterparts, the plight of Asia's endangered elephants is little known. Our aim is to raise awareness and funds to help protect these awesome animals and their precious forest landscapes which in turn provide homes and resources for 1000s of animals and local people.
