I want to trek the Annapurna Circuit, rightly know as Nepals Classic trek. The climax of the trek is crossing the iconic Thorong La Pass.  Based in Tea houses in the villages throughout.  This is a challenging trek (activity level 5) with 18 days point to point walking. The maximum altitude is 5,416m, and the average altitude is 2,800m.  Meeting the local villagers both Buddhist and Hindu.  This is something that is alien to me but I want to do this both for myself and to raise money for UNICEF.
