Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page raising funds for the Ukraine Crisis Appeal run by the British Red Cross. 

The Ukrainian people are living through a nightmare and my heart goes out to the families that have had to leave their homes, their families and the lives they know to take shelter. I could go on but I think everything has been said and it's just so sad and demoralising that we are in this situation. 

I appreciate your support for this appeal as I know there is real concern about energy and food prices at the moment. However much this appeal raises will be a fantastic amount and it will get to those who need it. £10 will give a family a hygiene package that lasts a month. Thank you for your help and please share.

The May Raffle 

This month I'm raffling an atmospheric oil painting called, 

"Gather Your Thoughts" .

It's one of those paintings that can be viewed either way ( take a look at it upside down! ) and will be framed so you can make a choice . It will be signed on the reverse. I love when this happens, it will depend entirely on how you react to the image.

The oil painting is on paper and measures 35 x 25cm unframed .

Final size once framed in white will be 53 x 42cm. Postage to the UK will be included in the prize.

Raffle tickets cost £2 each, if you would like to purchase more than 1, and I hope you do , please go up in multiples of 2 (E.g  £4 , £6 , £8 e.g £10 will get you 5 tickets.)

Message from The British Red Cross - As you know, the humanitarian situation is increasingly dire and desperate. Millions of people have no safe place to call home. More than 2.5 million have already left Ukraine, while countless more are still trapped underground, taking cover from the shelling, and desperate for a safe escape.Red Cross teams have been working around the clock to get critical care to those who need it most, both in Ukraine and its bordering countries. But with recent freezing temperatures, and ongoing violence, an enormous number of people urgently need help right now.
