Story
Heidi, Jane and Melanie are fundraising together for Salisbury District Hospital's charity - the Stars Appeal because we want to show our thanks for the help we've each had over the years - from maternity services to breast cancer care - and because we wanted to share an adventure together. In April 2021 we will be trekking 100km across Jordan, to Petra. This will be a challenge in lots of ways - wild camping, no hot showers or toilets for five days and no alcohol - are just three of them!
Now, more than ever before, we're grateful for an excellent community hospital just a few miles from our homes. Donations given now can go straight to the Stars Appeal to help support our hospital during the coronavirus outbreak.
We must raise at least £3300 each to join the trek. This total covers costs of £1,650 matched by another £1,650 to the Stars Appeal. Of course we’ll be paying for all our equipment, insurance and personal spending ourselves, as well as the registration fee of £399 each. Any additional money we raise over our £3300 target will also go straight to the Stars Appeal.
Thank you for helping us make sure that families like ours continue to get the support they need when they need it the most.
