 Huge thank you for visitng my page.

It was always a dream of mine to do the Race For Life.. But I was always far far too overweight to even contemplate it.

When my Auntie Marnie passed away a few years ago, it made me even more determined to do it.

In February 2013, I began a diet, and as I was so big the weight came off pretty quickly. So a month into it, I signed up for my first Race For Life.. I cried whilst filling in the application!..I knew it would give me the motivation I needed to lose the weight.

I managed to to lose a whooping 8 stone from the February to the July .. And I did my race for life on my sons 16th birthday!..

I ran for our Marnie, and my dad who was still fighting cancer.

If you thought I cried a lot whilst filling in the application, you should of seen me and my daughter, Millie, as we crossed the finishing line!..lol

Well now 2014 is upon us, and I sat with baited breath waiting for the Race For Life sign up website to open.. I just had to be one of the first.

My race number came through, and I am number 2!

I am again racing for Our Marnie! and my dad! who no longer is fighting! but is winning!

Also hoping to shed a few more stone by my race in July!
