Story
Throughout my time at university the words 'mental health' have become more important to me. Conversations are now being had and mental health is slightly less stigmatised. However, I want to contribute to the continuation of these conversations and to help those struggling. In the current climate, amongst the COVID-19 outbreak, these conversations are more poignant than ever.
I am running the Edinburgh Marathon for SAMH, Scotland's national mental health charity. Their work is incredible, not just discussing mental health but offering a variety of services across Scotland to help those in need e.g. recovery from addiction, suicide prevention and peer support groups.
This is my first ever marathon, which is terrifying!!! I massively appreciate your support and help with fundraising. Your donations will keep me going!
