In September 2012 I am going to do a sponsored trek for 11 days along parts of the Great Wall of China in aid of MacMillan Nurses for Cancer.  Our MacMillan Nurse, Katie, was fantastic and always knew what information to give when.  MacMillan Nurses are entirely funded by donations.  60% of what I raise will go to the charity.   I am doing this for them, but above all for my dearest Jimsy.  He would have been amazed but thrilled!  The great challenge for me will be getting fit!

Update - May 2012 - the fitness programme is going well after some serious setbacks (including a sprained ankle!)
