SKY DIVE 2022
Campaign by Weston Hospicecare (RCN 900328)
For more than 30 years weve given palliative care to people with life-limiting illnesses in Weston-super-Mare and North Somerset completely free of charge.

Story

This charity is very close to my heart. Working in care with people in and around Weston I’m often caring for those who use (and may need to in the future) the crucial services of the hospice and day care centre that Weston Hospicecare offer.

My sister-in-law works for them and I get to hear the about some of the amazing and life-changing care they provide.

I’m not a thrill seeker so a sky dive is a massive deal for me, I’m not going to lie, I’m scared! But your donation is going to push me to do this, I believe in this wonderful charity and the work they do, and I hope you will support us in this fundraising - I feel so honoured to be asked to do my little bit for this awesome and amazing charity!

Thank you so much!!!!

God bless

In their own words:

Receiving an end-of-life diagnosis can be difficult, not just for the patient but also for their loved ones. At Weston Hospicecare, our team of palliative care experts is dedicated to working together to provide specialist support. Our social, emotional, psychological, spiritual and physical care helps guide people through one of the most difficult experiences they will ever face. With only 20% of our funding coming from the NHS, we have to raise £4 million each year to fund our care - something that's only made possible by our community.
