Event: LOROS Winter Walk
In memory of Emma Shaw
Join us for a five mile, family-friendly stroll from Houghton on the Hill to Thurnby and back. Start between 9 and 10am from the village halls of either Thurnby or Houghton on the Hill. The route will be signed on field paths between the villages.

Story

At LOROS we strive to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers. This community event is hoping to raise over £8,000 in order to support the hospice. The funds will help us to run our 31-bed inpatient ward and facilitate our nurse led Day Therapy Unit. Now in its 40th year, this walk is the longest continual event raising funds for LOROS and is always on December 27th (unless this happens to fall on a Sunday, when it will be on the 28th). All sponsored walkers will receive a commemorative badge. Please support our dedicated volunteer walkers? Click the donate button.
