Mum was an instinctive believer in social justice and the right of all people to live a life free from poverty and disease. She was a very generous person and supported various charities for many years. She donated monthly to Oxfam and undertook numerous fund raising activities in support of it.

Mum asked for donations to Oxfam in lieu of flowers at her funeral.
