It is with immense sadness that WheelPower and Scottish Disability Sport learnt of the passing away of the much loved Jean Stone MBE.

It is impossible to say in a few words the impact Jean had on the world of Paralympic, wheelchair and disability sport here in the UK and around the World.

Thank you Jean for everything you have done to transform lives through sport.

Jean was passionate about using sport to help young and newly disabled people to enjoy life, develop new skills and lead healthier, more active lives.
