Team Foundling Runs the 2022 TCS NYC Marathon
Fundraising for The New York Foundling
Story
I know it may seem crazy, but this 65 year-old guy is running another marathon in a few weeks!
Not crazy at all is my commitment to raise funds for The Foundling, a 153-year old social service organization serving over 30,000 children, adults, and families in New York and Puerto Rico each year. My favorite Foundling program, among over 40 of them, is Mott Haven Academy, which serves children involved in the child welfare, homeless and foster care systems in New York. When I taught high school English in Manhattan, these were the students most at risk and it is comforting to know there's a place for them to thrive. Here's a link for more information
