Story
Jack has become a great personality in our family. It wasn't until he was a year old that his profound deafness and kidney failure were diagnosed. His life since then has meant daily dialysis, intravenous feeding and a cochlear implant. In spite of this and because of the devotion and determination of his parents, Jack is leading a full rich life. He has been to playschool, nursery and now goes to school daily. He has been on holidays abroad (with dialysis), ridden a tricycle and pony, he has even met Mr Tumble!
After many years on the kidney transplant list he was finally taken off it when both parents were found to be unsuitable donors. Jack is the happiest child ever, his deep blue eyes are always smiling, even after bouts of sickness. A very dear child to us all. We hope your charity will bring about some intervention that will offer hope for heartbroken families.
