Hi guys,

In a fit of madness (never pull an all-nighter at work on your own) I signed up to do the Great North Run. All 13.1 miles of it. Now most of you know that I'm not a runner (unless buses or last orders are involved), or actually all that active. Not so much a gazelle or cheetah as a hippo. I imagine it's going to be 13.1 miles of hell! As such I'd really, REALLY appreciate your help. I'm running on behalf of Oxfam and it'd be great if I could raise £500 for them. They do a fantastic job across the world, especially in terms of access to education, and as someone who has benefitted from lots of years of the stuff, it'd be really lovely if I could help someone else go to school who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to do so.
