Story

In August 2022, our family life was turned upside down when my amazing Mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Her life was cut short and her diagnosis came completely out of the blue, with little-to-no obvious sign of illness until it was too late. We had to say goodbye to her just 6 months later in February of this year. She was a happy, fun and incredibly loving mother who had so much more life to live.

Our family have been utterly heartbroken by what this horrible disease did to our mum, so suddenly. To give back just a tiny amount, my brother Harry and I are running the London Marathon in April to raise money for The National Brain Appeal. The charity work with the Queen's Square Hospital in Kings Cross, London - where our mum was initially treated and diagnosed back in August.

The charity, and hospital, aim to transform the lives of the millions of people affected by neurological and neuromuscular conditions - however, any money that we raise will go towards research and advances in brain cancer.

Anything you can donate will be hugely appreciated.

Love, Jen. X
