On the 22nd April 2021 my god daughter Evie entered the world. Before she was even born she was diagnosed with a serious heart defect. This was a very scary time for all that love her but especially her parents Lizzie and Keith. The support that ECHO gave and continue to give Evie and her family is invaluable. 

On the 29th of January 2022 I will be joining Lizzie in taking part in the London Winter Walk Marathon. It's not going to be easy but it's such a worthy cause and if little Evie can over come the challenges she has faced we can definitely do this.

Families are supported at every stage of their heart child’s journey from the moment of diagnosis through childhood, teenage years and during the transition to adult services. ECHO provides practical and emotional support and welcomes families into a community of shared experience and understanding, at times when there is little other help available.
