For me, running and training means rising early in the morning and just getting out there, regardless of inner or outer conditions! It also means being in nature, finding peace of mind, keeping healthy, and connecting with a sense of abundance and joy. All this I wish for patients who come to Camphill Medical Practice.

Cancer rates continue to rise and one in three people will be affected by cancer at some stage in their life. Cancer patients may attend at any point of their illness, each stage having a unique set of needs and questions. Patients may need supportive treatment or for the induction of Mistletoe Therapy which is the most frequently prescribed complementary and alternative medicine for cancer in Central Europe. It is used at all stages of disease in combination with conventional cancer therapies. The complementary medicines and therapies aim to generate well-being and stimulate innate health, and support each other in a balanced way.

On the 4th October, I will be running in memory of my dear friends and relatives who have died of cancer within the last few years: Granddad, Charly, Brigitte, Carola and Friederike.
