Friday 19th September 2014 from Barclays Bank London Bridge,

commencing at 3.00pm  

 

The Jarrett Foundation is an international children's development charity.  The Foundation works with young people in the UK and children and young people around the world.  The Jarrett Foundation has previously worked in The Gambia and Sierra Leone and is currently working in Jamaica. 

 

Last year The Jarrett Foundation sent 2 containers a 40ft and a 20ft to Jamaica filled with desks, chairs, thousands of books, stationery, clothes, shoes, toys and much more.  The Foundation was able to touch and bring relief to 37 Primary Schools. 

 

A team of 9 people went to Jamaica to ensure that all the items got safely to where they were supposed to go and the Principles of the schools signed for all the items that arrived.

 

2014 The Jarrett Foundation is now fundraising to send another 4 x 40ft containers with more school resources to reach 89 schools.  

The team will be doing a sponsored walk along with Barclays staff to raise money for the shipment costs.
