Well we are at it again! In November 2016 our team raised in excess of  £110,000 on our Vietnam adventure which is now a fantastic memory but Isabel Hospice still needs funds so it is on to the next challenge. 

In October we will be travelling to Nepal, this time we will get to spend two days helping in a non-profit hospice project in Kathmandu - time to give something back to the region. We will then trek in the Annapurna mountains, which looks a bit more of a challenge than Vietnam - lets just hope it isn't lashing rain as well! We will be staying with local people in teahouses (!) which will no doubt create some good stories. The scenery, views of the Himalayas and the people look spectacular, and to top it all I get to spend my birthday descending into a village called Ghandruk, which is inhabited by Ghurkas  (somehow I get the feeling it may be one of my most painful birthdays, but probably memorable!)

So I'd best get in training

Please rest assured that our team are self funding our own travel expenses so every penny you donate on this page, or have donated to attend one of my events, will go straight to the hospice team. My travel costs are a birthday present - what better way to spend my 60'th!!

Isabel Hospice provide fantastic support, much of the time to help people to remain in their own home as long as possible and I know we would have been lost without them to help when mum was so poorly. They really do provide a special service.
