Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dad was the kindest, nicest man that you could ever wish to meet and if you had ever had the chance to meet him you would have felt truly privileged.

I am lucky enough, proud enough and honored to be able to call him my dad.

Mum and Dad have been married now for over 50 years and during the last 6 months it has shown me truly what love really means to two people.

Not only did Dad have 3 of the most loving children that adored him like no other he also had 7 grandchildren that who loved him with all their hearts.

To all his friends and anyone who knew him, I am sure that you will remember him with the fondest memories and the biggest, kindest smile that made Dad Jim.

Dads last 18 hours was made incredibly comfortable for both him and us by the kind and caring way that it had been dealt with by 'St Elizabeth Hospice one call at home'.  This service allows people like my dad to have his remaining days in the home that he loved with the people he loved and most importantly with his wife June.

All of this is only possible, thanks to 'St Elizabeth Hospice one call at home' and people like yourselves donating and supporting this fantastic service.

I especially would like to thank mum's angel 'Kenny' for the 24 hour care he gave to both dad and mum in dad's last 6 days with us.
