Story
On Sunday 7th May, I will be completing the Great Birmingham half marathon in aid of teenage mental health, a cause that is very important to me and many of my friends.
I am using my fitness to raise money for the Oli Leigh Trust, a charity which supports teen mental health and suicide prevention.
Each year, way too many young people heart-breakingly take their own lives, and I believe that this can be prevented in the future if we teenagers were given better support. Tragically, Oli Leigh took his own life in 2018 aged only 16. I am therefore so proud to be teaming up with The Oli Leigh Trust, which provides funds to support organisations working in this area.
Whilst running 23km won’t be easy, I am training hard each day and want to do all I can to raise awareness for mental health. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, see you at the finish line.
