This October we are giving up chocolate to raise money for kidney patients, they have to live without chocolate all year round but could you give it up for just one month?

Story

I was really lucky to receive a kidney transplant earlier this year and the best way to show my gratitude is to raise money to support other kidney patients.  There is no cure for kidney failure, the only options are dialysis and transplantation and sometimes that can be a long, painful, miserable wait.  Kidney patients need support and counselling and the National Kidney Federation can help with this.  Please can you spare just a few pounds to help people going through the toughest way of surviving that you can imagine.

The Charity run by kidney patients for kidney patients, the charity supports two million people with Chronic Kidney Disease and 60,000 patients who have end stage kidney failure. The charity also supports Dialysis and Transplanted patients and their carers. The NKF offers a National Kidney Patients Helpline 0845 601 02 09 offering medical information leaflets, help and advice - with trained staff answering around 200 calls a week.
