Double Challenge - 10k and 25k walk for Harington · 23 June 2019

Our plan to create a new employability training hub for young people with learning disabilities in the heart of Hornsey, N8, is almost a reality! We have raised 85% of the building costs. Please pledge your support today toward the final target.

Story

Harington is a fantastic local charity that provides training and employment opportunities for young people with learning disabilities/difficulties. I know, I work there!

They have been helping young people to gain new skills for work and life since 1980 by offering a range of practical training programmes.

Getting a job is the ultimate goal for many of the young people at Harington and Harington's new employability training hub in Hornsey will help more of them to achieve this goal by offering practical training and work experience to prepare them for their working lives.

To kick off my challenge I will be walking 10k in Regents Park on 23rd June 2019 and then 25km from Putney to Tower Bridge, crossing 16 bridges along the way in September.  Your support will be all I need for encouragement along the way!

Harington needs your help to get the Hornsey Hub up and running, so please sponsor me and help our learners dreams come true!
