Urgent action must be taken to improve Pancreatic cancer survival and quality of life for people with cancer.

In March 2018 we are going tackle our toughest challenge yet... We will be trekking for 16 days, 5,645m high to base camp of the world's highest mountain.

It came as a complete shock to our family when our Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 advanced, inoperable, pancreatic cancer. In September 2011, our Dad visited the doctors after complaining of stomach pains. He was informed that the pains were nothing to worry about and was advised to take painkillers. The recurring pain got progressively worse and in February 2012 he went back to the doctors to get checked over again. A couple of weeks later, we received the devastating news that he had pancreatic cancer and was given only 6 months to live.

Holding on to every last hope that our dad would beat this, we supported him through a number of clinical trials all over the country. Unfortunately, the research of this deadly disease has been severely under funded. Because of this, we were forced to watch our Dad deteriorate every day, knowing that there was nothing that we could do to help him.

Please help us to raise awareness and funding for Pancreatic Cancer UK so that other families can find hope and have faith in medical research, finding better treatments and ultimately a cure.

Any donation no matter how big or small will help Pancreatic Cancer UK change the outcome for patients in the future and will be used to fund cutting edge research.

We are going to take on the challenge in memory of our Dad and to celebrate his life and give hope to others affected by pancreatic cancer.
