As you will know, the Covid-19 pandemic is having an unprecedented impact on charities and businesses of all sizes. All of our income has either slowed right down or stopped, this includes cancelling fundraising events and closing our charity shops.

Story

I am back again trying to raise awareness and much needed funds for Katherine House Hospice Stafford. As before I will be putting myself through a physical and mental battle.  This time by taking on the GB ULTRAS event that is Race across Scotland 215 mile, single stage run  with a 100 hour cut off.

This is along the Southern upland way and will be taking place from Saturday the 12th August 2023 and finishes on Wednesday 16th August.

Unlike my last challenge of 5 marathons in 5 days, where I had the luxury of finnishing each marathon at my home, this event is a single stage event, therefore any sleep I will be lucky enough to get will be in a chair or on a blow up matress in a village hall along the route.

With this being such a big challenge, the hard work starts now and all events and training runs between now and then will play a massive role in being able to complete the mammoth challenge.

Any amount of donation that you are able to give, no matter how big or small, this  goes to a brilliant local charity and can only exist with the support from donations.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any funds you are able to give.
