John's Running The Clacton Santathon 2021

Clacton Santathon 2021 · 4 December 2021
At 1.00pm this Saturday, 4th Dec 2021, me and hopefully loads of other Santas will run the length of the lower promenade to the end of the Greensward, turn the corner and head back along the upper promenade to cross the finish line, near the War Memorial - We should all be dressed as Father Christmas!
I've already tried on the Father Christmas costume and running in it will be a challenge in itself as I've never run with a full beard and pointy hat funnily enough...also, the crotch has already gone on the trousers from just walking around the house. What a sight.
WHAT TO DO:
I hope to raise £100 for Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity and I am only asking for a £1 donation per person (+ GiftAid) if you could be so kind. Thank you so much.
COME AND JOIN IN OR JUST SUPPORT:
If you want to participate, or just come along and see this spectacular at 1.00pm Saturday lunchtime then please see the link below:

More info on the Charity:
Colchester Hospital Charity for Children with Type 1 Diabetes is a charity that supports children and young people in North East Essex with type 1 diabetes. It was set up in 2014 and by supporting us you are providing children and young families with T1 diabetes the opportunity to take part in fun yet educational events which will help them to live normal healthy lives whilst managing their condition confidently and appropriately. A diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes can often cause anxiety and lack of confidence regarding living normal lives however with the correct help and support it shouldnt inhibit anyone..our aim is for all children with T1 diabetes to achieve what they want whether it be getting a Karting racing licence, a horse racing licence or trekking across the Amazon - just a few of some our children and young peoples achievements.
