Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity's, Children with Type 1 Diabetes fund supports children and young people in North East Essex with Type 1 (T1) diabetes.

It was set up in 2014 and by supporting us you are providing children and young families with T1 diabetes the opportunity to take part in fun yet educational events which will help them to live normal healthy lives whilst managing their condition confidently and appropriately.

A diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes can often cause anxiety and lack of confidence regarding living normal lives however with the correct help and support it shouldnt inhibit anyone. Our aim is for all children with T1 diabetes to achieve what they want whether it be getting a karting racing licence, a horse racing licence or trekking across the Amazon - just a few of some our children and young peoples achievements.
