We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everybody that has donated to Diabetes Research. I completed my challenge yesterday, it took approx 8 hours to reach the summit and back and was probably one of the most physically and mentally demanding things I have done.

I have attached a few pictures and a video.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

That picture you can see is Ben Nevis. At 4,409 feet above sea level it is the highest mountain in the UK and I will be 'staggering' up there on Saturday 13 August.

I am undertaking this challenge to raise money for Diabetes UK as my son Callum is an insulin dependant diabetic so please give what every you can for a very worthwhile charity. It is estimated that over 2 million people in the UK have the disease and unfortunately it is a growing problem. The aim of Diabetes UK is to improve the lives of people with the condition and to work towards a future without diabetes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
