I will be swimming 2 miles in the Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park on Saturday 21 September. I took part in this in 2018 (that's me in 2018) but only swam 1 mile so I would that I would take on the extra challenge this year.

As well as raising money for the Princess Alice Hospice, I am also swimming in memory of Jan Spence. Jan was a very dear friend who sadly died on 1 June 2019 after a long and brave battle with cancer. Jan volunteered in the Princess Alice Shop in Barnes and was a great supporter of the charity.
