JUMPING for JOY
(and St Catherines Hospice)
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Just had the big Six-0 in November, but hey, sixty is the new forty so life is just beginning. What better way to celebrate than to fulfil a long-held ambition and jump from a plane with a parachute!
It was a really special day and so far we've raised about £500.00 for the Hospice but it's still not too late to donate.
My thanks to all those who have donated so far but if you haven't you still can or if you know anyone who might be prepared to support this worthy cause you can send this page to them by e-mail using the Share This Page link to the left.
You too can make not only my day special but also that of many people affected by cancer.
Thousands of people (loved ones and family as well as patients) are affected in their daily lives by cancer.
St Catherines Hospice helps play a vital role in the provision of respite and palliative care and is much in need of your support.
My thanks go to so many people; to those of you who have donated; to the Peterlee Parachute Centre who ensured the day was so safe and enjoyable and to my sons for their fantastic support and their camera work in taking the photos, some only of which are on site today.
If you feel able to make a donation, however small, the PLEASE get out the plastic and click on the DONATE button link to help support this very worthy charity. If you are a U.K. taxpayer.then by ticking as appropriate your donation will be boosted by a further 28% in government Gift Aid.
My own and the Hospice's thanks to everyone who gives their support to this endeavour.
