As most of the people who will visit this page know, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2008, so obviously JDRF is an organisation that's close to my heart.

I recently started a social/support group for young adults with Type 1 in London and since then I've been keen to start trying to use the group for raising some money for diabetes charities. I also recently started running so the JDRF Walk(run) to Cure Diabetes came as a perfect opportunity to combine the two.
