Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit 'Simmo's Christmas Dip' JustGiving page !

The Simmo's John & Jimmy will be taking part in an organised event throwing themselves into the freezing cold North Sea off the coast of Felixstowe on Christmas Day morning at 10am. Money raised will be donated to the hospice via the Elizabeth Simmonds tribute fund that the family have opened in memory of Betty.

St.Elizabeth hospice aims to improve the quality of life for adults in East Suffolk with a life-limiting condition. Their services include an in-patient unit, day care services and a Hospice Home team. All of the wide ranging services are provided free of charge to patients, families and carers and it costs £11 per minute to run the Hospice.

To encourage us to run straight in from the car and dip ourselves right under into the cold grey beasty waves of the ocean on Christmas Day morning, when we could be at home in the warm playing with a children's presents, we are asking you kind ladies and gentlemen to dig deep and sponsor us in order to raise as much as we can on behalf of such a great service.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Please tick Gift Aid.

We are doing this for a great claus and we are aiming to reindeer in as much as we can. We know it won't be good for our elf but we are hoping for sacks of donations ! There will be no mincing around and snow way we will back out or we will look like two great big turkeys and that is all we've got to sleigh !

We will keep you informed of our progress.

Thanks for your time and all your donations

Merry Christmas

John & Jimmy
