Story

The Lily Foundation was set up by Lily Merrit's parents in memory of their daughter who lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today. There is still no cure for this which is for many, debilitating and life limiting.

My good friends Mark and Ruth  have three daughters Maya, Ivy and Willow. Ivy is now ten years old and she was diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease when she was only ten months old.  Please read Ivy's story, here is the link.

Over the years I have seen how incredibly supportive The Lily Foundation has been to them and I'm so pleased to have this opportunity to contribute to this amazing charity.  For more information about the Lily Foundation, here is the link.

Thank you very much for your support!
