Story

Hello To You All!

My name is John Allport and I own 3 Fish Chip shops in North Wales (Porthmadog, Pwllheli and Llanberis).

I have chosen this charity because of my company, we specialise in Fish & Chips, So without the Fishermen it would be pretty difficult for me to get fresh fish to sell to my customers (Unless i go out myself with a fishing line!!!)

It goes unnoticed the work that the fishermen do, more to the point the dangerous conditions the fishermen can get into and sometimes things can go wrong. The work that the charity does is invaluable to the fishermen and their families.

Please donate, every donation will go to good cause.

I'm very looking forward to my climb up Kilamanjaro, and a challenge that i could not turn down! It will be a challenge and a half i predict, perhaps i will be in situations that these fishermen get into on their trips.

Thank You For reading my page!

All the donations will go to a good cause!

Thank You

John Allport

RCN England & Wales No. 232822, Scotland No. SC039088
The Fishermen's Mission is the only national charity that works solely to support active and retired fishermen and their families by providing practical, financial and pastoral support. Fishing is dangerous and unpredictable. Hardship and tragedy are facts of everyday life in the UK’s fishing
