Story

In 2005 my wife Sue had a large brain tumour removed at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London. In 2018 at the same hospital my daughter Charlotte had a VNS operation to help reduce the length, frequency and intensity of her epileptic seizures.

The National Brain Appeal is the charity dedicated to raising vital funds for The National Hospital.

Although I have done plenty of cycling challenges, I am definitely not a runner so this will be the toughest physical and mental challenge I have ever done. My best mate Bruce will coach me. We will train together, run the marathon together and raise some money together to support the great work of this hospital and simply to say thank you. The marathon is on my 60th birthday too! :-)

Thank for your support with our London Marathon JustGiving challenge!

Our page donations will be sent direct to the charity in a fast and secure way. Its efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity. Let's do this!
