Did you know that 1 in 8 Christians around the world are persecuted because of their faith? Every day, they face discrimination, rejection, attack and even murder for choosing to follow Jesus. On 12 September Gen and I will have a fantastic opportunity to run in the Great North Run to raise money to bring vital food and aid to those who need it the most. So why are we choosing to do this? 

For many years the persecuted church has been on out hearts and in our prayers. We believe the many men, women and children who suffer because of their faith are on Gods heart too and we want to do something practical to stand with them. When part of the body hurts the whole body hurts with them. 

Open Doors are a fantastic organisation who bring hope to many in very difficult situations. We want to invite you to be part of bringing that hope and support along with encouraging us as we train for the event. 

Every £56 we raise could equip a Rapid Response team to bring emergency food aid to a family of persecuted believers. Thanks so much for supporting us!
