Did you know that 1 in 8 Christians around the world are persecuted because of their faith? Every day, they face discrimination, rejection, attack and even murder for choosing to follow Jesus.

Open Doors is working with partners around the world to bring crucial, practical support to persecuted Christians who need it the most.

On 12 September a team of us will be running the Great North Run to raise money to bring vital food and aid to people who are persecuted simply because of their Christian faith.

Every £56 we raise could equip a Rapid Response team to bring emergency food aid to a family of persecuted believers.
